We listen, act, and transform
When you experience life stressors, trauma, family dysfunction past and present, medical concerns, emotional effects of the pandemic and isolation, life transitions, or emotional disorder, it's not uncommon to feel that your life is unraveling. Talking with a therapist can be a first step towards resolution of past issues and gaining tools for being your best self.
I am a psychotherapist/Clinical Social Worker committed to helping individuals, families, and fellow therapists navigate life's road blocks and find a healthy path forward. My 41 years being a therapist as well as a social worker has given me the experience and skills to meet clients where they are on their life path and work together with them to navigate emotional road blocks in order to thrive daily living.
My therapeutic practice is grounded in evidence-based interventions, drawing from various modalities ie cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapy, family systems and psychodynamic theory.
I prioritize the importance of building a trusting and empathic therapeutic relationship with my clients, as I believe this is the foundation for meaningful change.
Overall, I believe that therapy can be a transformative and empowering experience and I am honored to be a part of my clients' journey towards positive change.
